Being trapped in a dream usually means that you may feel you are not free to be yourself in your relationship or career.

To dream that you are trapped may mean that you want to free yourself from some kind of bondage in real life. Figuring out the bondage that’s holding you, can help in finding a way to express yourself. The bondage can be a relationship, career, old habits or health.

Imagine in reality you are trapped. You can only be trapped when someone has forcefully confined you and has limited your opinions and options. In a similar fashion, if you see yourself trapped in your dream means that, in your real life. No, it doesn’t mean you are physically trapped in your real life. But the dream is referring to your subconscious mind where you are feeling that you are not free, it can be a relationship or job or your health.

If you saw ropes or cables to which you are tied, then it means the relationships you are tied to where you are not happy, analyze your relationships in your awake life, who is that person or a thing that is restraining your freedom of expression. It could also mean your addiction to something in life that you know is bad for you and yet continue to do so and you feel trapped.

It sometimes refer to your helplessness on certain aspects in your life where you know your potential to make a difference and yet are bound by the conditions that stops you from doing what you want to do. Dreaming of being trapped also can suggest to your health, if are suffering from a prolonged illness and the cure is taking longer time then you feel you are trapped. One other reason to seeing yourself trapped in a dream could generally mean that you have a lot of jobs at hand that you can handle and not justifying each of them puts a lot of pressure on you. It could also mean your obligations to some of the jobs are unnecessary or you simply dislike doing them or being around people who are associated with those jobs.

Seeing yourself trapped and no one around you and you feel all alone may also mean that you are cut off from everyone in your awake life. It may also mean everyone related to you or someone very important to you is ignoring you or wants to break up ties with you, the feeling of feeling left alone could be projected as a being trapped in your dream.
